Kelcy Warren Increases Investment in Energy Transfer Amid Expansion

Kelcy Warren, renowned for his role as co-founder and executive chairman of Energy
Transfer, has once again made headlines in the financial and energy sectors.
Warren recently increased his stake in the Dallas-based pipeline giant by
purchasing 3 million additional shares, a move valued at approximately $40
million. This acquisition comes shortly after Energy Transfer’s announcement of
a significant expansion through a $7.1 billion deal to acquire Crestwood Equity Partners.

Warren’s investment activities are closely monitored by industry analysts and investors alike. His
recent stock purchase aligns with patterns observed in corporate leadership,
where significant share acquisitions often signal confidence in the company’s trajectory
or an undervalued stock price. Since 2018, Kelcy Warren has amassed over 103 million shares in the company,
reflecting a profound commitment to Energy Transfer’s growth and success.

Energy Transfer’s acquisition of Crestwood Equity Partners is a strategic maneuver to strengthen
its foothold in critical oil and gas basins, including the Williston, Delaware,
and Powder River basins. This deal enhances the company’s capabilities with additional
pipelines and storage facilities across North America, further cementing its
role as a leading player in the U.S. energy infrastructure landscape.

With a sprawling network of nearly 125,000 miles of pipelines, Energy Transfer has been an aggressive acquirer in recent years,
completing deals worth approximately $14 billion. The company, a prominent
fixture in Dallas-Fort Worth’s business community, concluded 2022 with
impressive financial results, boasting nearly $90 billion in revenue.

Kelcy Warren’s substantial investment in Energy Transfer underscores his belief in the
company’s potential and long-term strategy. As the firm continues to expand and
adapt to the evolving energy landscape, Warren’s decisions will undoubtedly
remain a focal point for those tracking the industry’s dynamic developments.
